With the rise in online fraud and phishing attempts, it's important to us that you feel confident about the
communications you receive from our team. Below is an overview of how we communicate with you and how to identify legitimate messages from Goodwin Chivas & Co.
Our verified email addresses
Please ensure the following email addresses are saved to your safe senders list to prevent our messages from being marked as spam.

You may receive emails from this address regarding:
- ATO correspondence that we forward to you for your attention.
- GCC monthly Newsletter – containing important information.
- GCC quarterly email – our business clients will receive an email outlining important due dates and any other relevant information for business. Please take your time to read them so that you stay on top of your reporting obligations.
- Land Tax correspondence.
- Credit card payment receipts.
- GCC MYOB portal communication.
- Engagement letters.
- SMSF clients in Pension – quarterly email in relation to TBAR reporting. Within this email we have
- a link to answer a question about withdrawals and contributions. It is safe to use this link to let us
- know if this applies to your SMSF.
- Other general communication from us.

Used for financial and billing matters, such as:
- Invoices
- Debtor Statements and Debt Collection
- Credit Card payment receipts
Corporate Administration - corpadmin@goodwinchivas.com.au
Used specifically for ASIC related matters, including:
- ASIC Annual Company Statements (signed via DocuSign). The "Pay Debt Now" link included is legitimate and directs you to the Postbillpay website, with the amount and reference number prefilled for your convenience.
- ASIC forms (e.g. changes to directorship or shareholdings).
- ASIC automated reminder emails.
Client Solutions - clientsolutions@goodwinchivas.com.au
Used to communicate with our ongoing bookkeeping clients, or when our bookkeeping team is assisting you with a specific task.
Electronic Signing of your Financial Accounts & Income Tax Returns
These documents are sent by your assigned manager or team member and will always come from our official domain: @goodwinchivas.com.au
- The email will include a secure link directing you to the MYOB Portal, where you can view and electronically sign your documents.
- Approving a task via this portal is considered legally binding—no wet signature is required.
- If you lose the original link or want to review documents at any time, you can log into your portal using the following address: gcc.portal.accountants. We recommend bookmarking this URL for easy future access.
How to Identify a Legitimate Email from Us
To help ensure your security, here are some tips to identify genuine emails from Goodwin Chivas & Co.

- We will never ask for sensitive personal information such as passwords or bank details via email.
- All legitimate emails will come from our official domain: @goodwinchivas.com.au
- Please check the sender address for each email you receive.
- Any links or attachments we include will directly relate to the services you’ve engaged us for. If a login is required, they will direct you to secure, trusted platforms—such as the MYOB secure client portal, where you’ll sign in with your own password.
- We never include a QR code for scanning.
