Welcome to our March newsletter. Legislation due to come into effect from 1 July 2016 means some small businesses will able to change their legal structure without triggering a capital gains tax liability - read more in our story Change in legal structure - New small business CGT rollover relief. 

With cash assets now representing 26 percent of all SMSF assets, SMSFs have been cautioned over a recent spike in SMSF cash allocations.
